Previous First Daughter Chelsea Clinton on Tuesday made light of her mother’s future political desire in the wake of her wounding thrashing in the 2016 presidential decision.
“Goodness, I have no clue. I don’t think so,” Clinton, 37, told “CBS This Morning” when asked whether she thought the previous New York representative — and late concentration of New York mayoral race bits of gossip — would make another keep running for open office.
“I think at the present time she’s centered around her book. She’s centered, gratefully, around her grandchildren,” she included. “She’s centered around what she can do to enable help to work that she’s been occupied with for longer than I’ve been alive, around youngsters, around ladies, around families.”
Rather, Clinton stated, her mom is intending to reinforce “the youngsters who are contemplating running for office” and bolster associations like Planned Parenthood.
“I simply am truly appreciative that she’s out there doing that work, since I accept as firmly today as I did a year ago and the prior year about what we should be doing to ensure and propel advance,” she said.
